The secret of a clean environment

Catalytic lamps (fragrance lamps) were invented by a pharmacy assistant, named Maurice Berger, in 1898 with the purpose of purifying the environment of hospitals, with magnificent results. So much so that very soon they became fashionable for use in the home, and to purify environments in closed rooms, Lampe Berger has just been born.

In the 1930s, they reached their peak with the incorporation of fragrances, and with the help of well-known artists they became collector's items.

The way it works is very simple, first you remove the wick that is attached to the catalytic stone, fill the lamp with the chosen fragrance 3/4 of the way, insert the wick and let the wick soak for 20 minutes. , then light the stone with a lighter or match, leave the flame on for a couple of minutes, blow it out and put on the diffuser cover. With a 30-minute operation we have more than enough for a 30 m2 room. After that time (1 minute x 1m2) the cap is put on so that it stops consuming the product. The product will be acting in the environment for several hours.
